Waving echoes of a memory.

There is a portion of the memory dedicated to the summers of childhood. It is accessed only with a license of vagueness, as when one observes the reverberation of the heat and the leafy shadow superimposed on the paper of a photo taken in movement. There we feel as children the shattering of sparkling bubbles in some colored drink, the laughter around the pinball machine, the pleasure of lightness. The Tribeca was born from the undulating echoes of a memory, from that invitation to do well that implicitly comes from the past.

The sculptor Phidias in the metopes of the Parthenon frieze gives us an idea of how much dynamism can be transmitted by a static object, through the use of diagonals, the proportions and the tapered shapes typical of the moving body.

Fasten your seat, belt!

Tribeca is a collection of outdoor seats whose comfort is entrusted to the elasticity of a profile in durable, cleanable and coloured plastic material. The tubular frame is so minimal that it makes the object very light. The alternation of the stringing gives a rhythm, a visual opening, which make the seat fresh and airy.

Tribeca Lovers.

The Tribeca has been distributed all over the world, in very different contexts, always in situations of great convivial vitality. By placing itself as a light and colorful graphic element. He has obtained important awards, including the selection at the ADI Design Index 2019.

In a very short time, the Tribeca collection reached the favor, among others, of many illustrious artists: several music bands, not fully aware of the real functions of the object, dedicated a heartfelt tribute to Tribeca.

Shape memory.

The tape used for the Tribeca is made of an extruded PVC with a Nylon core.

PVC gives elasticity, color, tactile pleasure and cleanability. Nylon adds strength and shape memory. Thanks to the Nylon core, the tape returns to its original tension every time it is not subjected to loading: in this way the Tribeca always appears composed, in order, whenever it is available to those who want to sit there.

The nylon thread that constitutes the soul of the sling is the same as that used by Santiago to draw the large marlin in The Old Man and the Sea. Ernest Hemingway, on his passage to Italy, left a note about the tenacity of the thread, which we accidentally found in the crack of a plank at a tavern in Schio.
